01The knife
D2 Steel That Holds an Edge Through Real Work — A D2 tool steel blade keeps a sharp working edge far longer than common 8Cr14MoV blades, so you spend less time touching up and more time cutting. It slices through double-wall cardboard, zip ties, rope and cord without rolling the edge, which is why this folding pocket knife handles repeated box breakdown and workshop jobs without needing a sharpener mid-task.
Full Flat Grind and D2 Care Done Right — A full flat grind thins the edge geometry behind the bevel, so the blade glides through apples, rope and cardboard instead of wedging. D2 is high-carbon steel, so wipe the blade dry after use and put a light drop of oil on the pivot and blade to keep it free of surface rust; hand wash only and dry immediately rather than leaving it in a wet sink.
Liner Lock and a Flipper That Deploys Clean — The flipper tab gives your index finger a solid contact point, and the factory-tuned pivot and detent let the blade snap open in one motion without wrist flicking. A liner lock engages the blade tang with a steel interface so the blade stays locked under pressure, and the right-hand flipper with a reversible clip keeps left-handed carry workable.
