01The knife
The tanto profile puts mass behind the tip, which is where a fine drop point gives up first. Use it for scraping, scoring and push cuts that would roll a thin edge. The G10 frame stays slim enough for a front pocket despite the blade length.
02What it does well / what it does not
Pros
- Strong tip geometry, full-size grip, still one-hand deployable.
Limits
- Tanto is harder to sharpen than a drop point for beginners.
