01The knife
Built on a 3.15" D2 Steel Blade — D2 tool steel is a high-carbon, wear-resistant alloy, so the edge keeps cutting through cardboard, zip ties and rope instead of rolling over after a few boxes. The 3.15 inch drop point blade is the size most EDC carriers settle on: long enough to break down a box in one pass, short enough to stay legal and comfortable in a front pocket.
Textured G10 Handle That Grips Wet or Gloved — G10 is a fiberglass-reinforced composite, so it does not swell, warp or get slick the way wood and smooth metal do when your hands are wet, sweaty or covered in fish slime. Fine machined grooves run the length of the handle to give your fingers a repeatable index point, so the knife lands in the same grip every time you pull it out.
Opens One-Handed, Locks with a Liner Lock — Push the flipper tab with your index finger and the blade swings out and locks in one motion, so you can open it with the hand holding the knife while the other hand is busy. The liner lock is a spring-steel bar inside the handle that presses against the blade tang; to close, push that bar sideways with your thumb and fold the blade down. No wrist flick needed, and no lock release button to hunt for.
