01The knife
Built for Hard-Use Cutting Without Constant Resharpening – The 4.33-inch D2 steel blade is a high-carbon tool steel chosen for edge retention, so it keeps cutting through rope, cardboard, kindling and packaging far longer between touch-ups than a soft stainless blade. At 4mm thick with a stonewashed finish, the blade resists scuffs and scratches from daily camp and workshop use.
Full Tang Steel Runs the Whole Length of the Handle – The blade steel extends through the entire handle as one continuous piece, so the grip will not separate from the blade under repeated pressure. This is the construction that matters for batoning kindling, prying open a stubborn package, or any hard-use task where a partial-tang knife would flex or work loose.
A 13.5mm (0.53in) Slim Handle That Does Not Bulge on Your Belt – Most outdoor fixed blades run thick and rounded, which prints through a shirt and digs into your hip on a long hike. This contoured G10 handle keeps a low 13.5mm profile with a textured, non-slip surface, so it sits flat against the body and stays controllable when your hands are wet or gloved.
